The Downtown Kitchener Art Walk is a rejuvenating guided walking tour through downtown Kitchener with a focus on the vibrant murals, installations and public sculptures that call DTK home. 1 to 2 :30 pm.
Moparfest, Canada’s largest all-Mopar car show, returns on August 17 and 18 in New Hamburg. Explore over 1,500 Plymouth, Dodge, Chrysler, AMC, and Jeep vehicles, plus a non-automotive flea market with 30+ vendors. The event runs from 8 to 4 pm, rain or shine.
Come watch some of the area’s best roller derby teams battle it out right here in Waterloo! Tri-City Roller Derby is hosting the following leagues for Put Up Your Toques on Aug. 17-18, a full weekend of sanctioned play at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. Tri-City is playing Saturday at 12pm and 6pm, Sunday at 10am, 12pm, and 4pm. Saturday all day - $30, Sunday all day - $25, Full weekend - $40.

Waterloo Region Community Foundation’s Arts Grants Fund is now accepting applications for two grant streams in 2024; one for Organizations, and one for Individual Artists & Collectives. Approximately $580,000 is available, including $330,000 in funding from the Region of Waterloo.
