What to do.

Wednesday, Nov. 15 is Beer + Knitting at THEMUSEUM. Learn the basics of knitting from Cabin and Cove Knits, and go home with the foundational skills to create a variety of your own cozy modern knits. By the end of the class, you will get started on your first knitting project you can continue to work on at home.

Thursday, Nov. 16 is the Souljazz Orchestra "Under Burning Skies" album release party at Starlight. Doors open at 8 PM.

Also on Thursday, Nov. 16, Daniel Lanois plays Centre in the Square starting at 8 PM. Lanois is a brilliant musician in his own right, and a producer who has contributed significantly to the soundtracks of our lives, including groundbreaking albums by U2, Peter Gabriel, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jon Hassell, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Robbie Robertson, Neville Brothers, and Michael Brook.

After Hours at The Library (the Waterloo Library) is this Friday, Nov. 17. Join them as theywelcome Gloria Ferris, Ian Hamilton, and Andrew Pyper to the Waterloo Public Library.

Make mittens with your kid (or borrow a friend's kid) on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Spool & Spindle. $50 includes materials and training to make two pairs of mittens. One pair will get lost. We know which pair.
