Tonight, Monday, April 30 at 7 PM, head over to the Kitchener Public Library for Podcasting with The Secret Life of Canada. Meet two of Canada’s newest and most popular podcasters, Leah-Simone Bowen and Falen Johnson, hosts of The Secret Life of Canada. During Canada 150 celebrations, these playwrights decided it was time to let Canadians know the untold and under-told histories of Canada in an entertaining, subversive, and concise way.

Do you wanna rock? The School of Rock KW has an open house this Tuesday, May 1 from 5:30 to 7:45 PM. Tour the school, meet students and staff, trash a hotel room....

Join the Culinary Studio team on Wednesday, May 2 as they bring the fish and seafood experts from T&J Seafoods into the store. In this hands-on cooking class, they will guide you through the proper cooking techniques of cooking fish and seafood, with phenomenal flavour, seasoning & side dishes.

Friday, May 4 is a PD day - so if you've got a kid and looking for something to do, head over to the Waterloo Public Library for Code-Fest 2018. Code with Scratch, collaborate with others to build Minecraft worlds, real life Star wars coding, and more. Appropriate for school age children.

The Flock Social Club is hosting a peddle bike pub crawl of uptown for Cinco De Mayo. They'll be cruising the streets of uptown Waterloo on a Pedal Pub powered by you. Grab a group of friends, They'll be stopping at four locations for tequila cocktails or Mexican beers, followed by Mexican food at the last stop.

The Spring Etsy Made in Canada show is also on Saturday, May 5 from 10 AM to 4 PM at RIM Park.

This Sunday, May 6 is the first Sunday of the Blue Note Composer Series at Rhapsody Barrel Bar downtown. Every Sunday afternoon in May, award-winning jazz trumpet iconoclast Brownman Ali and an all-star cast of Toronto's jazz finest explore the compositional works of four legendary composers from the seminal Blue Note Records label.
