For real this time - Tonight, Monday, April 30 at 7 PM, head over to the Kitchener Public Library for Podcasting with The Secret Life of Canada. Meet two of Canada’s newest and most popular podcasters, Leah-Simone Bowen and Falen Johnson, hosts of The Secret Life of Canada. During Canada 150 celebrations, these playwrights decided it was time to let Canadians know the untold and under-told histories of Canada in an entertaining, subversive, and concise way.
Also tonight, the University of Waterloo is celebrating its selection as the host institution for the newly created Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) of Canada. To celebrate the launch of SDSN Canada, they are hosting a keynote lecture by Professor Jeffrey Sachs, Special Advisor to United Nations on the Sustainable Development Goals. The lecture starts at 7 PM at Humanities Theatre.

On Friday, May 11, take a peek inside the Artist's Studios and wonder through our halls to see the amazing visiting artists Over 30 local artists exhibiting. This years line up will include painters, pottery, jewelry, wood working and printmaking. To make your Mother's Day gift giving easy, A Mess of Potters will be selling vases. To complement your special vase, Juniper Floral will be on site creating bouquets to purchase.
Descendants Beer & Beverage has buck-a-shuck oysters and live music on Friday, May 11. Music starts at 8:30 PM.

First up, Kultrun Market/Neruda Arts, Torchlight Tattoos and Seven Shores Community Cafe are having a joint birthday celebration on Friday, May 11 4 PM to 7 PM. There will be live music, a pop-up market and more.

The Worst Pop Band Ever plays the Jazz Room this Saturday, May 12 starting at 8:30 PM.
The Bluenote Composer series continues on Sunday, May 13 with the music of Wayne Shorter at Rhapsody Barrel Bar. National Jazz Award winning trumpet iconoclast Brownman Ali and an all-star cast of Toronto's jazz finest explore the compositional works of 4 legendary composers from the seminal Blue Note Records label -- Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock & Freddie Hubbard.
