Why Waterloo Region Tour | 05:00 pm | Check out Shopify, The Canadian Clay and Glass Museum, Vidyard, Catalyst 137, Kitchener Public Library, and the Perimeter Institute on the Why Waterloo Tour. Each stop has some surprises.

#TNDTK Concert - Experience awesome at #TNDTK with a free outdoor concert at Carl Zehr Square in downtown Kitchener. True North attendees and everyone in the Waterloo Region community are invited for a night of rock n’ roll, friends and food trucks brought to you by the City of Kitchener.
The show starts at 7pm with a performance from the amazing students from School of Rock Kitchener-Waterloo who will tear through classic hits by artists like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Queen, and more! School of Rock teaches musicians of all ages to play alone and as part of a team, putting students front-and-center on a real stage for real performances.
The headliner for the night is The Beaches, a Toronto-based band who are a little bit glam rock and a little bit garage. Comprised of sisters Jordan and Kylie Miller (on lead vocals/bass and guitar, respectively), Eliza Enman-McDaniel on drums, and Leandra Earl on keys and guitar, The Beaches are 100% rock and roll. Their songs flow with unparalleled ease, headbangers with resonance.
All ages and experience levels welcome. Join Queen Street Yoga for a relaxing and refreshing free 60 minute golden hour yoga class in the open air. Mats are available for use. Golden Hour Yoga - 7:30 pm in Victoria Park.

'Dream Girl' Screening & Panel - The Apollo Cinema & Communitech are bringing you an incredible documentary about the power of female entrepreneurs! From first year startups to million dollar companies Dream, Girl tells the stories of five powerful entrepreneurs and the dreams that have propelled their businesses forward. 4:30 PM at the Apollo Cinema.

Night at THEMUSEUM - In collaboration with True North Waterloo, THEMUSEUM and Quartetfest, prepare for an incredible evening of technology, sound and electronics. THEMUSEUM open it's doors at 7pm for an exclusive preview of the new exhibits and sound installations.
At 8pm Open Ears presents "Hard Wired". Featuring two of Canada's hottest contemporary ensembles, Penderecki String Quartet and TorQ Percussion Quartet, in a evening packed with 50 different musical instruments and electronics on stage. Repertoire will feature the Canadian premiere of Augusta Read-Thomas' Selene, Mason Bates' Bagatelles, Daniel Morphy's Thrown from a Loop, and the world premiere of Nicole Lizee's brand new octet. The music bridges classical contemporary with electronica dj/club culture in a dizzying array of percussion and strings.
BlackBerry KEYone Social - BlackBerry Mobile has teamed up with CrackBerry Kevin for a celebration of Waterloo's innovative spirit! They're excited to open up Rhapsody Barrel Bar to everybody in town for True North. It's across the street from City Hall and will be open May 31st from 7 PM - 10 PM.
