KW VegFest is Kitchener-Waterloo’s first large scale vegan festival and it's happening this Saturday, July 7 from 11 to 6 at Kitchener City Hall. It's a day of food vendors, sanctuaries, non-profits, social clubs, mindful retailers, compelling speakers and a free movie screening.
Drunken Cinema is coming to Kitchener. What's Drunken Cinema? It's a monthly drinking game series for people who love cult cinema. Up this Saturday, July 7 - an interactive movie drinking game for one of their favourite movies of all-time: WEIRD SCIENCE. Watch this 1985 cult film and experience Gary’s fantastic drunken rant, Chet’s annoying yet infectious laughter and find out all the many things you can get away with in a PG-13 movie in the 80’s with a great crowd in a great cinema - The Apollo.
