This week at Princess Cinema in collaboration with Jon Johnson (Bearface Johnson) presents screenings of Design Canada - a documentary that explores what defines a national identity. Is it an anthem, flag, logo or icon? How do these elements shape who we are? In the 60s and 70s, these questions were answered by an innovative group of Canadian designers who used design to unify the nation. Directed by graphic designer Greg Durrell, the film follows the transformation of a nation from a colonial outpost to a vibrant and multicultural society.
