White Rabbit has a hands-on cocktail workshop this Tuesday, August 14 at 7 PM. The Apollo has a screening of the mindfulness documentary "Walk With Me" starting with a twenty minute mindfulness session lead by Leslie from Queen Street Yoga. This Thursday, August 16 at 6:30 PM.
Local indie band Hugo Alley presents Pulp Social this Saturday, August 18 at the Tannery Event Centre in downtown Kitchener. Pulp Social is a party for KW's art community with three performances by indie pop bands and art popups wall-to-wall selling original art, clothes, merch and more. Music Provided by Hugo Alley, The Kents and Lost in Japan. Featured art popups by Nikolina Kupcevic, Jerry Quartz w/ Prevalent Plus, Trisha Abe, Alicetookmypicture, Haven Dao and Robin Ritter. $20 in advance or at the door.
Apollo Cinema's Apollo's Feast is back this Saturday, August 18. Enjoy a burrito from Holy Guacamole while you watch the classic film "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure".
The "I Love The 90s Tour" hits Bingemans On The Grand this Sunday, August 19 starting at 6:30 PM. Scheduled to appear - Vanilla Ice, Salt N Pepa, Rob Base, Montell Jordan, Young MC and Black Sheep.
Celebrate Waterloo Park's 125th birthday with two events in uptown Waterloo. From noon till 5, Open Streets takes over the recently renovated central promenade in Waterloo Park with music, games and and workshops. Then from 5 till 9, meet at the Waterloo Park bandshell for live music and food trucks.
The 30th anniversary edition of Kidspark is this Sunday, August 19 from 11 to 5 PM in Victoria Park. It's an exciting day jam packed with activities, entertainment, music, crafts, STEAM activities and surprises.

Belmont Village Bestival
September 15 | Belmont Village, Kitchener
The Belmont Village Bestival is a one day festival bringing local artists to the Village to celebrate music and other artistic expressions in this beautiful gem within the City of Kitchener. Head down and check out their European style street festival held in the heart of Midtown. There will be a wide variety of musicians, dancers, children’s entertainers, visual artists and more with performance venues at Belmont's restaurants, cafes and outdoor patios.

LUMEN
September 29 | Uptown Waterloo
Lumen is a festival that showcases light based new media, media art, and projection based installations. This free event invites citizens to explore the city through a new lens -- one that illuminates Waterloo through art and technology. Lumen will take place in uptown Waterloo on September 29, 2018 from 6 - 11p.m. More details to be announced shortly.
