Wednesday, September 12 is the 5th Annual Waffles in the Warehouse presented by the Allan Bush Investment Team. Keynote speaker, Michael 'Pinball' Clemons (Life goal - be referenced with a nickname is everything - Ed.) will share his passion for community involvement and his thoughts on the value and importance of food banks. Waffles in the Warehouse raises awareness about food assistance in Waterloo Region, addresses misconceptions around food insecurity and inspires people to get involved.
Collab alert: The final David Johnston Research + Technology Research Park X Block3 Brewing Pop Up Beer Garden is this Friday, September 15 from 2 to 6 PM. KW Craft Cider will be there too!

Open Streets Waterloo is this Sunday, September 16 from noon till 5 PM. Come down to uptown (That's also confusing. -Ed.) for an afternoon after games and music and maybe a parent will have their child on one of those leashes and you can whisper to your partner that you'd never do that.

Belmont Village Bestival
September 15 | Belmont Village, Kitchener
The Belmont Village Bestival is a one day festival bringing local artists to the Village to celebrate music and other artistic expressions in this beautiful gem within the City of Kitchener. Head down and check out their European style street festival held in the heart of Midtown. There will be a wide variety of musicians, dancers, children’s entertainers, visual artists and more with performance venues at Belmont's restaurants, cafes and outdoor patios.

LUMEN
September 29 | Uptown Waterloo
Lumen is a festival that showcases light based new media, media art, and projection based installations. This free event invites citizens to explore the city through a new lens -- one that illuminates Waterloo through art and technology. Lumen will take place in uptown Waterloo on September 29, 2018 from 6 - 11p.m. More details to be announced shortly.
