FOMO.

Nuestro88 is a new restaurant in Deer Ridge Centre by Sportsworld Crossing. They opened only a few months ago and have already been featured by local food columnists for their home-style cooking blend of Asian and Spanish cuisine. Nuestro88 is likely one of the only places you can get Halo Halo in the Waterloo Region, a Filipino shaved ice topped with tropical fruits, sweetened beans, creme caramel and ube ice cream. Their better known Spanish dish is the Pescado Valencia, a whole fried fish on a bed of rice, black beans, and deep fried plantain. The most exciting feature is their Kamayan Nights, where you gather around a table lined with banana leaves and eat with your hands. Their past Kamayan Night events have sold out so watch their Facebook page for future events and call ahead to make reservations.

We're excited to bring you restaurant reviews from KWFOMO. Follow them on Instagram for more awesome places to eat and drink in Waterloo Region.
