The Underground on Scott is a new full-service and take-out restaurant in Downtown Kitchener. Despite only opening two months ago, they’ve developed a reputation for their “crazy cakes”, with their most recent 5-layered cvreation dedicated to the Toronto Raptors. Beyond crazy cakes, they offer $10 lunches, breakfast on Saturdays, and cater to all types of dietary preferences. If you’re looking for something healthy, the chef and co-owner, Paulina Pearce, is a professional bodybuilder so she knows first-hand what a well-balanced or competition-level meal plan looks like. Their revolving menu is updated daily on their Instagram at @theundergroundonscott. All of their dishes are a spin on classics or a fusion of flavours, such as BLT Hot Dogs, Perogie Poutine, and Grilled Cheese Burgers. If not for their uniquely creative menu items, check them out for their classy underground dining area and warm hospitality.
