This week is True North Waterloo and there are over 50 free events to check out during the Festival part of the conference. You don't need a badge to go to any of these events - they're just a way of showing off the awesome variety of dining, drinking, arts and culture activities we have here in Waterloo Region. The big event Wednesday evening is the Campfire Music Festival presented by the City of Waterloo! Bring a blanket or your favourite hoodie. Gather around the campfire with friends and neighbours for music, food, fire and more. Featuring musical performances by: Great Lake Swimmers, Safe As Houses & Bird City. Also featuring the Four All Ice Cream stand & the UW Student Art Innovation Lab (SAIL).
The True North Kick Off Party is over at Starlight Social Club starting at 9. Kick off True North with a night of top notch DJ's and performers.

The Street Art edition of Open Streets Waterloo is this Saturday noon till 5 pm. They'll be closing down Willis Way June 22 from noon to 5 p.m. for their Street Art Open Streets. Or head down to the Waterloo Skate Park for the unveiling of the city's new Action Sports Parks with Mayor Jaworsky and skateboard lessons from Evolve.
Jazz After Dark at The Social in Downtown Kitchener has the Attila Fias Trio - Attila Fias (piano), Paco Luviano (bass), Rich Brisco (drums). He's an award-winning pianist blurs the boundaries of jazz and world music from Brazil, Hungary, India and more.
