The LGBTQ+ in Technology Meetup v0.2.9 is happening from 6:30 to 9 PM at the Terminal offices in 305 King Street. Come connect with the local LGBTQ+ community in technology and help make and take a space.
KW Cornhole is happening everyday Monday night at the Edelweiss Tavern. 7:30 Start Time, $10 entry each week - everyone is welcome.

Runner's Choice has a 10-week 5k training program starting today leading up to RunWaterloo's 5k Fall Classic in October. Sign up in store!
The KW Game Dev community has a board game night at the Adventures Guild on Ontario Street from 7 to 9:30 PM.
Guanaquita has latin dance lessons and latin dancing on Tuesdays. Lessons are from 7:30 to 8:3 PM followed by social dancing until 11.
Get ready for quidditch tomorrow (Wait for it. Wait for it. -Ed.) with Harry Potter Trivia at Descendants Beer & Beverage starting at 8 PM.

Your Waterloo Public Library is having their annual Picnic in the Park from 6 to 8 PM. There's food trucks, face painting and quidditch. (Obliviate my late fees. -Ed.)
Flamenco Fest is this Wednesday and Thursday at the Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre. This year's guest performer is flamenco dancer and percussionist Ronaldo Monge from Puerto Rico accompanied by Claudia Aguirre & Julian Berg - Calujules and local nuevo-flamenco guitarist Juneyt Yetkiner.
The last Hacienda Market of the summer is tonight starting at 5:30. Check out vendors and roam the awesome grounds of the Hacienda Sarria.

Your Kitchener Public Library has an artist opening reception from 6:30 to 8:30 for #LeftieSelfie - alternate-hand watercolour and ink by Meg Leslie. Based on a tweet that she read in 2014, Meg Leslie started drawing with her non-dominant hand. It has became like a journal for her life, a practice/obsession that she shares on Instagram daily.

Strummerfest 2019 is this Friday and Saturday in Waterloo Town Square. Over 20 bands are playing and admission is free.
Forget rabbits being pulled out of hats...the Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre has a night of some of the best magicians, mind readers and variety acts for their Secret Show V. There are two performances - 6 and 8:30. This is one of KW's best kept secrets which we are apparently ruining by telling everyone. Sorry.
The Apollo Cinema has a Free Feminist Friday screening of "Dirty Dancing" presented in partnership with SHORE Centre. The SHORE Centre team will be there before the screening to talk about the services and programs they offer and to answer any questions you have.

That novel not writing itself? Join novelist Gillian Best for the free workshop "Where Do Ideas Come From?" that digs into where great ideas come from - and how to get them onto paper. The workshop takes place at the Waterloo Visitor and Heritage Information Centre.
Make it a long weekend road trip and head to Guelph to cheer on the Kitchener Panthers as they take on the Guelph Royals at David E. Hastings Stadium.

The Waterloo Concert Band is performing at the Waterloo Park bandshell from 7 to 8 PM. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy some awesome live music.
