Keep the summer going with Endless Summer at Martinis. They have set out to create a four-course pairing menu with four super playful, ingenious cocktails that showcase summertime moments, with small dishes that focus on intense flavours and exciting juxtapositions.
We know we're supposed to be eating less meat, but if you wanted to learn how to butcher a whole hog, then the "Whole Hog Butchery Workshop" at the Wooden Boat Food Co. is for you. Learn from professional butcher and author Jamie Waldron on how to break down an entire pastured pig from snout to tail. (We put A1 steak sauce on broccoli and it tastes great. Just putting that out there. -Ed.)

Micro-LED startup VueReal is having an open house from 5 to 7 PM. They're inviting the community for some light refreshments and snacks as well as a tour of their facility.
The inaugural First Thursday for Startups meetup at Communitech features Shiny Doc's CEO Jason Cassidy. This meetup will feature talks from two successful local startup founders, who will be sharing some valuable lessons learned from their respective journeys. (It's like the third Thursday, but we don't want to be critical here. -Ed.)
