HackerNest is back for their September tech social. Tonight's host is Geotab at their office inside Catalyst 137 in Kitchener. The social starts at 8 PM.
It's burger Monday at Descendants Beer & Beverage. Burgers are $5 + tax with the purchase of any drink. There's also a Beer and Bachata Party with DJ Esso starting at 6. Tickets are $10.
Tuesday, September 10
Put that Friends trivia to use before Netflix finally stops carrying it. Descendants hosts their TV Trivia night starting at 8 PM.
The Mysterious Barricades Concert Society hosts a series of 15 one-hour concerts across Canada between September 5th and September 14th to mark World Suicide Awareness Week. This concert series comprises of performances by some of Canada’s finest musicians and includes genres of classical, choral, jazz, and more. Kitchener's concert is at your Kitchener Public Library starting at 7 PM.

Midtown's best festival - the aptly named Bestival - is back with not one, but two days of events in and around Belmont Village in Midtown. (Cue debate over where boundaries of Midtown are. -Ed.) Friday, check out Bestival Reads at Catalyst137, HipHop Night at Arabella Park, live music at Casa Rugatino and more.
The Bauer Kitchener has their annual Neighbourhood Patio Party from 1 to 4 PM with Mill Street Brewery, Elora Brewing Company, Great Lakes Brewery, Corby Spirit and Wine, Wellington Brewery and The Vine.

Sunday, September 15
No gluten, no problem. (Gluten is the devil. -Ed.) The 1st Annual KW Gluten-Free Festival is happening from 10 to 4 PM at the Breslau Community Centre. Admission is $5.
Join KWAG for a guided outdoor walking tour of the Kitchener core, tracing the layers of urban life building up to the present day. Tours begin in the Gallery lobby at 4 PM and run rain or shine so please dress accordingly.
