Tonight is the KW Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year celebration at LOT42 starting at 7 p.m. KW Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year recognizes outstanding women in the community.

It's Terror Tuesdays at your Kitchener Public Library. This week's film is "The Innocents" a genuinely frightening, exquisitely made supernatural gothic staring Deborah Kerr as an emotionally fragile governess who comes to suspect that there is something very, very wrong with her precocious new charges.
Descendants Beer & Beverage has TV Trivia starting at 8 p.m. This week's theme is RuPaul's Drag Race. Feel free to pay homage, to dress up to have fun with it.

Head on over to Counterpoint Brewing for "Beer. Diversity. Discussion and Beer Release" with the absolutely awesome Ren Navarro. It's going to be a great discussion with Ren of Beer. Diversity along with the special release of a beer brewed by Ren in collaboration with Counterpoint.
It's party time. Party time with The Wiggles. Centre in the Square - two shows, one at 3:30 and then at 5:30.

The second LOKAL Festival is happening at Workhaus starting at 5 p.m. LOKAL is an Oktoberfest dinner market showcasing the region's finest small-batch makers and musicians.
Come learn about Women Crisis Services of Waterloo Region at their #SheIsYourNeighbour Info Night from 6 to 8 p,m. at Anselma House (700 Heritage Drive Kitchener). Hear inspiring stories, learn about what they do and how to recognize and respond to signs of domestic violence.

The KW Oktoberfest Willkommen Platz is taking over King Street - enjoy their licensed beer garden, keg tapping, lots of incredible food vendors, activities, live music and a midway - they've got something for everyone, so bring the whole family.
The KW Oktoberfest Opening ceremonies run from 11 to 1 p.m. at their new location near Crabby Joe's in Downtown Kitchener. Start the Thanksgiving weekend by attending the official Opening Ceremonies & Keg Tapping on King Street at Frederick Street in Kitchener at 11:15am followed by the Mayor’s Lunch

Open Streets Uptown Waterloo and CreateWaterloo present the Ultimate Scrabble Tournament in Waterloo Town Square from 4 till 7 p.m. Games are played on regular boards with the final game being played on the giant one painted in the square. ("Bae" is not a word. -Ed.)
The UpTown Waterloo Great Oktoberfest Barrel Race takes place between 11 and 2 p.m.
