Monday, December 23
The Apollo Cinemas has two free movies today. First is a screening of "A Christmas Story" at 7 p.m. followed by a screening of "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" at 9 p.m. Admission is FREE with one or more of the following - dry or canned food donations for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, a new, unwrapped toy or a cash donation of $10+.

Tuesday, December 24
CBC KW has their Sounds of the Season Skating Party at Kitchener City Hall. Bring a donation for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Get into the Christmas Eve spirit with some story time at your Waterloo Public Library from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

Wednesday, December 25
Hide in the bathroom and look at social media. Your in-law's bathroom. Times vary.

New Year's Eve
Starlight's New Year's Eve Ball featuring DJ Surreal & DJ Flash. $15 advance tickets - includes entrance and midnight snacks. $25 advance tickets - includes entrance, 2 drink tickets, champagne toast and midnight snacks.

Jane Bond has their Laser Disco New Year's Eve with Dj 88 & Dj Good Dr. $10 in advance.

Celebrate NYE 2020 in proper 90's fashion with Graffiti Market with a $70/person four-course pairing menu created by their chef team paired with our Red Circle Beer. Also includes entry to their banging party, with DJs, dancing, party favours, late night snacks, and a complimentary toast at midnight.

The City of Kitchener has their New Year's Eve Party at Kitchener City Hall. Fun for all ages plus live music, skating, retro video games and a countdown to 2020.

Family friendly NYE (during the day) - Ring in the Noon Year at THEMUSEUM. with a morning filled with crafts and face-painting. Gather in the Atrium at 11:45 for a countdown to the New Year’s Balloon Drop and Apple Juice Toast.
