It's a day of main stage talks, compelling workshops, and a curated Feminist Market featuring local vendors and businesses. 🌐👭🏽📅

The Irish Real Life Festival kicks off today with the opening ceremony at Speaker's Corner in Downtown Kitchener at noon. Then head over to TWH Social for the Celtic Music School and Open Jam Session from 11 to 7:30 pm. 🇮🇪☘️

The first ever Central Frederick Neighbourhood Shiverfest is happening tonight starting at 6 pm. Meet at Ambrosia Corner Bakery for hot chocolate and treats, lantern making and local art vendors and then bundle up and tour around the neighbourhood with some awesome people.

Join your Kitchener Public Library for a compelling conversation with Sally Armstrong in conversation with Eva Salinas, journalism instructor and former managing editor of OpenCanada.org. Sally Armstroing is a journalist, activist, author and 2019 Massey Lecturer. Armstrong was the first journalist to bring the story of the women of Afghanistan to the world and is relentless when it comes to exposing the abuse of women whether on an American university campus or a village in a war zone. 2 to 3 pm at KPL's main branch at 85 Queen Street. 🌐👭🏽📅
