Waterloo Region Rides for Covid Care is this weekend. Frontline caregivers at Waterloo Region hospitals are giving everything they’ve got to fight the COVID 19 virus and keep our community healthy. To support their efforts, the Waterloo Cycling Club (WCC) is leading a COVID-19 fundraising event with a series of virtual rides on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.
Drop the sourdough starter, it’s a playwright Bake-Off with Pat The Dog Theatre Creation! Originated by playwright and teacher Paula Vogel, a bake-off is a quickly written play on an assigned theme with assigned elements that folks do within a 48 hour period of time. It's a creative reaction and response to unprecedented situations and times. When the 48 hour time period is up, groups of participants gather (in this case, digitally) and read the bake-offs!
