Idea Exchange has Princess Storytime with the Ice Princess starting at 2 pm. Dress up as your favourite princess and join them for an enchanting story time with the Ice Princess.

The University of Waterloo has its 2020 Virtual Women in Math Celebration on starting at 7:30 am. The event has a leadership panel with executives from organizations including Disney+ and ESPN+, Ouster, HSBC Holdings and more, plus a discussion on how math is helping answer crucial COVID-19 questions.

The Communitech Sales & Marketing Ask Me Anything is this Tuesday, May 12 from 2-3 pm. Join Chad McCaffrey, CRO at Meya and Healther Galt, VP of Marketing at P&P Optica ask they answer your sales and marketing questions.

Join the Sexual Assault Support Centre of WR on Facebook Live Wednesday May 13 from 12:30 pm-1:00 pm to hear from Jennifer Hutton, CEO of Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region and SASCWR's Executive Director, Sara Casselman who will be talking about COVID-19 and Gendered Violence.

THEMUSEUM and Sugar Run Speakeasy host Cocktails at Home this Wednesday from 7 to 8 pm. Learn how to make a build, a shake and a stir cocktail and explain the basics of crafting your own at home! Join them to learn how to make a Moscow Mule, an Old Fashioned and a New York Sour.

Overlap Associates hosts "Designing Virtual Meetings: How to Create Valuable Opportunities for Engagement Using Remote Tools" this Thursday from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm. In this webinar, you'll learn about some of the creative ways Overlap is continuing to engage with people at the centre of the problem spaces they work in. They'll share some of the tools, activities, and considerations that they've found to be successful and some of the obstacles to avoid.

Waterloo Region Rides for Covid Care is this weekend. Frontline caregivers at Waterloo Region hospitals are giving everything they’ve got to fight the COVID 19 virus and keep our community healthy. To support their efforts, the Waterloo Cycling Club (WCC) is leading a COVID-19 fundraising event with a series of virtual rides on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.

Drop the sourdough starter, it’s a playwright Bake-Off with Pat The Dog Theatre Creation! Originated by playwright and teacher Paula Vogel, a bake-off is a quickly written play on an assigned theme with assigned elements that folks do within a 48 hour period of time. It's a creative reaction and response to unprecedented situations and times. When the 48 hour time period is up, groups of participants gather (in this case, digitally) and read the bake-offs!
