Eating and drinking and working.

I'm a creature of habit and one of those habits is going to Ethel's for nachos and beer. But spring is a time for new habits. It isn't? Are you sure. Let's pretend it is.

What new places do I need to try? Well, first there's Stark and Perri (56 King Street N., Waterloo) which is in what used to be McMullen's. I've heard they still have pizza and pitcher specials, so win right away. Second, I want to get over to Rhapsody Barrel Bar (179 King St W, Kitchener) which is just down the street from my office, so I really have no excuse. Want something a little more physical? Check out Amma Yoga - they have a mix of class offerings for adults and kids - 72 St. Leger St., Kitchener.

The rumours of a new bar in Belmont Village have been around for a while now and most of those rumours seem to be confirmed in this post on bartowel.com.

An eagle eye friend of TL;WR, Jeff MacIntyre, spotted this liquor license application for Arabella Park in the space formerly occupied by Lillies White, next to The Culinary Studio.

Arabella Park will be a joint venture between a local family and the team from Stillwell in Saint John, NS. No word on opening yet, but hopefully Midtowners will have a new place for a pint sometime this summer.
