THEMUSEUM has Fun with Bubbles on from 11 to 11:30 am. Your kids (or you too we guess, who's judging -Ed.) can learn to make the perfect bubbles.
The City of Waterloo and Uptown Waterloo have an Open Air Art Market located on Willis Way (Caroline St. to Waterloo Town Square South Parking Lot Entrance). You can sign up to be a vendor too. Check out their site for details.
THEMUSEUM has pub-style online trivia with hosts Carolyn and Mike starting at 7 pm.

The Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region is hosting "Understanding Online Exploitation: A Workshop for Caring Adults" from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. In this workshop they will discuss online exploitation and offer ideas for how to broach the topic with kids.
The City of Waterloo Museum has "200 Years of Teaching: a tour of Mount Hope Cemetery" starting at 7 pm. 2020 marks the 200th anniversary of the little log schoolhouse in Waterloo Park. Visit with museum staff in Mount Hope Cemetery to learn the stories of Waterloo’s early students, teachers and trustees.
Summer Lights Festival has Thursday Nite Music with Carly Thomas starting at 8:05 pm.

Saturday, July 18
If it smells good down on Lancaster, you know it's the smokehouse at The Lanc. On Saturday, July 18 from 1 to 8 pm, they'll be roasting a 150lb hog by the Lanc Lot Patio. There's a livestream too for any of your BBQ questions. Curb side pick available.

Kitchener Public Library is hosting "Plastic Free July - A Waste Reduction Workshop". Susan Gentilcore of All Things Preserved will lead you on a fun no-sew upcycling project: transforming a previously-loved t-shirt into a functional tote bag. Materials required: an old t-shirt and a pair of scissors.
