uxWaterloo has their UX Community Shorts meetup with presentations on behavioral barriers reviews, remote design, data-driven UX, design for virtual marketplaces, and designing in a company with low UX maturity. Thursday, 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
The Culinary Studio has their virtual cooking class-bbq & smoking workshop on starting at 5 pm. They'll cover topics such as curing, smoking, brining, basting, wood types, grill times and temperatures and more. During the class, they will cure a pork belly, smoke a brisket and grill a steak accompanied by chimichurri.

Explore the world of clay in a fun and engaging beginner pottery session at the Canadian Clay and Glass Museum. Come and discover the basics of hand building and decorating, no experience necessary. All ages welcome, $15/participant for one session. Dress for mess and wear a mask.

KidsAbility and Nutrition for Learning are the local charities for Timmy's Smile Cookie Week. Last year a record breaking $75,525.46 was raised for KidsAbility. You can use the Smile Cookie Pre-Order form to pre-order Tim Hortons Smile Cookies or even get them delivered. Smile Cookie Week starts on Monday, September 14 and runs the week until September 20.
