Eating and drinking and working.

The old Ali Baba steakhouse space is now occupied by Wildfire Steak House - which also has restaurants in Toronto and Oshawa. I had a chance to have dinner there two weeks ago - and it was a really great experience. Service - both at the bar and table - were top notch. As for food, my meal was one of the best I've had at a steakhouse in town.

This weekend, Descendants Beer & Beverage Co. celebrates their grand opening. My favourite right now is their Scooter Bock - I may have to go and buy more before Saturday.

Also - cancel your plans for June 12. Grand Porch Party is on - followed by Open Streets Waterloo.
