I was buying some churros at America Latina Variety's test at Kidspark on Sunday when Rachelle gave me some breaking news.

In addition to amazing churros and pupusas, Latina America now serves tacos. I am heading over today to try.

Waterloo Region Eats has a great write up on changes coming to Uptown 21. I can't write it better than Andrew can - "U21 changed how we think about food in the region. It was a leader in foregrounding local produce and putting it on a plate in inventive and delicious ways. The Benningers routinely injected new energy into the restaurant and the cooking was creative and current — but always with just a touch of the essence of Waterloo Region."

Running from Thursday, August 25th to Sunday, August 28th - the busker festival brings you some of world's best buskers. I still wish they'd bring back the late evening show from a few years back. Just putting that out there.
