There’s a lot going on Friday, but most importantly—you can watch the live stream of Mandy Bujold’s The Brawl at Tapestry Hall starting at 8 p.m. 18 local business professionals (including me!) are step into the ring, putting it all on the line to become Champions for Charity. These brave contenders have trained tirelessly, not for glory, but to make a real impact in our community raising over $300,000 for McMaster Children’s Hospital. To celebrate its 90th anniversary, Waterloo Region Nature is holding a vote to identify top nature spaces in Waterloo Region. Each winning location will have a designed badge available for purchase later. You’re encouraged to vote for your favourite nature spaces in the region, from 39 important locations chosen by WRN members. The options range from local trails to nature preserves, municipal parks and conservation areas. Voting is open until April 15 on the WRNature website. Winning locations will be announced Earth Day, April 22, 2024.
