Short Finger Brewing Co. invites you to Wrapping Y'er Presents from 12-4pm at the SFBC tasting room. Join Mike for a beer and wrap those presents. They’ll have extra wrapping paper and tape so you can wrap those presents away from prying eyes... and have a couple beers while you do it. Stick around for Live in a Dive with NovaKate from 6 to 8 pm with special guest Wendy Bones (Blue Freezie).

Shawn Kellerman’s Boxing Day Bash is happening at Maxwell’s. Doors at 7 pm.
The Zodiac Thriller is spinning at Jane Bond from 8 to 11 pm with lounge, exotica, organ and bongo weirdness, surf, spy themes, spaghetti westerns, and mid-century century sleaze.

Waterloo Public Library invites you to celebrate Kwanzaa at the Library all day at all its branches! Each location will have a scavenger hunt, colouring sheets and a special craft for you to enjoy as a family.

Kitchener Public Library has a free screening of Nanny McPhee at 2 pm.
Friends Not Foes is hosting Digger’s Delight at The Yeti (14 Eby St.) from 4 pm till late.
Andrew Searles headlines Rusty Nail Comedy at TWH Social. Searles’s made festival appearances at the Calgary Folk Festival, the Natal Day Comedy Gala in Halifax, the Palm Springs Comedy Festival, and the Burbank Comedy FestivalDoors at 7, shows at 8 pm. KW’s monthly variety show & artistic laboratory, Pinch Cabaret, is hosting a last hurrah at their long-time venue, the Button Factory. Expect the unexpected at the 35th edition of this legendary art party, featuring Ukrainian Folk Dance, Absurdist Poetry, Psychedelic Rock Songs, Erotic Theatre, Literary Essays and who knows what else! Celebrate New Year’s Eve Eve at Waterloo Public Library. Get your groove on with Just Dance, make crafts, and enjoy a story time at NYE Eve! at WPL’s Main Library. Once registered, children are welcome to drop-in to the party at any time between 3:30 and 5:00.
