KPL Southwest Branch (new library, who dis?) has an adult gardening workshop at 10 am. This is an outdoor program that runs rain or shine.
In recognition of National Indigenous History Month, Waterloo Public Library x City of Waterloo Museum present an evening with Dr. Lianne Leddy, associate professor of history at Wilfrid Laurier University, and winner of the 2023 Governor General award for Serpent River Resurgence: Confronting Uranium Mining at Elliot Lake.
Grand River Pride and the Downtown Cambridge BIA are hosting a Pride Street Party. Start the day with a street vendor market from 12:30 to 4:30, followed by performances by the Eric Bolton Band, Missy Bauman, and more, as well as drag performances from the fabulous Crystal Quartz and Canada's Drag Race star, Tynomi Banks.

TWB Brewing has a Pride Paint Night with Crock A Doodle at 7 pm. Pick from a choice of cocoa mug, salad plate, ice cream bowl, or cereal bowl and enjoy a 12oz draught beer or non-alc beverage of your choice. All supplies and pottery will be provided at the event and brought back to the Crock A Doodle studio for final glazing and firing. Items will be ready for pickup within a week or so.
