Being socially active is important for people living with dementia as it can help boost brain health and improve overall well-being. Community organizations, front-line staff, and decision makers are invited to attend Knowledge to Practice: The Importance of Social Connectedness for People Living with Dementia to discover the significance of creating dementia-friendly programs that actively involve people living with dementia, care partners, and youth.
Join the Accelerator Centre for a day of fun, food, and giving back to the community at its Pride Month Charity Event. 100% of the proceeds will go to SPECTRUM in Waterloo.
Want to get more comfortable with cycling in the city, or just get out on your bike more? Join KPL for 85 Green: Book & Bike - A Community Bike Ride and Discussion, a beginner-level community bike ride from the Central Library to Breithaupt Park, with time to socialize and discuss your latest read around cycling, sustainability, and environmental initiatives, before returning to the Central Library. 6 pm.
Bring a blanket or your favourite hoodie and head uptown for Camp Fire! Gather around the campfire in Waterloo Public Square with friends and neighbours for local music, games, and more from 6 to 8 pm.

The Community Edition and the Walper are proud to present: One Hell of a Drag Show! Celebrate pride with your premier local drag performers starting at 7 pm at The Walper Hotel in downtown Kitchener.
Onion Honey play TWB Brewing from 7 to 9 pm.
Pinch Cabaret is hosting a PYWC Improv Workshop & Jam at the Waterloo Visitor Information Centre from 7 to 9 pm. The 90 minute workshop portion will be followed by a 30 minute improv jam facilitated by Rob, exploring short form and long form improv games for a fun and immersive approach to collaborative comedy.

The 57th annual Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Festival is on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 in Victoria Park. Live music, amazing food, and games for the whole family!
Celebrate the birthday of Short Finger Brewing and all things Lando at Lando Day from 1 to 8 pm. Special guest food from Casa Del Toro.
Celebrate five years of ION light rail service at Fairway Station in Kitchener with live music, circus performers, food trucks, face painting and giveaways. There are also community events at Waterloo Public Square, Queen/Frederick Station and Ainslie Terminal.

When 93-year-old Thelma Post gets duped by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson, she sets out on a treacherous quest across the city to reclaim what was taken from her. Catch Thelma at the Princess Twin at 6:45 pm.
