KPL is screening all five original Planet of the Apes films this week at 2 pm every day. Catch Planet of the Apes (1967), Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970), Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971), Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972), and Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973) at the central branch.
Nic Foti is hosting a full-body mobility class at Templ Fitness at 6:30. This class is one hour and is welcome to folks of all skill-levels, especially those who work at a desk or in front of a screen all day. This class will use some soft tissue work on trigger spots, mobility work, and some correctional exercises that will have your body feeling great leaving class. It’s one hour long and is free— but a $10 donation that goes to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region is suggested. No need to sign up: just show up to Templ.

The Uptown Waterloo BIA's popular Night Market is back at the library for another year. Taste local treats, browse local vendors, enjoy entertainment from local musicians and performers, and take part in fun pop-up programming. Night Market’s are held in the Dupont Street Parking Lot (lower lot) under the overhang.
Club Zami: an Afroqueer Experience is a fundraiser for ACCKWA (The AIDS Committee of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Area). Hosted by Counterpoint Brewing from 8 to late, come out for beer, food from nyam revival kitchen, and the best dancehall, afrocuban, soca, and reggae beats around.
BeccaHosts has Road Trip Music Bingo at The Rabbid Fox from 8 to 10 pm.
The KW Pro Stand Up Comedy Show comes to the Jazz Room in Uptown Waterloo. It’s an evening of hilarious comedy just before Civic day long weekend featuring some of the best comedians around. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show kicks off at 7:30 pm.

It’s a long weekend edition of the Sunset Session concert series presented by The Downtown Kitchener BIA and produced by Good Co. Productions at Vogelsang Green starting at 7 pm. After the show is the afterparty is at Players Bar + Billiards on King St.
Rural Roots has its karaoke night with BeccaHosts from 7:30 to 10:30 pm.
