The Waterloo Public Library’s Book Club has an in-person discussion of Michelle Good’s “Five Little Indians”. The book tells the story of Kenny, Lucy, Clara, Howie and Maisie, five children taken from their families when they are very small and sent to a remote, church-run residential school. When they are finally released, they find themselves alone and without any skills, support or families. They then find their way to Eastside Vancouver, where they strive to find a place of safety and belonging. Monday, Dec. 13 at 7 pm.
