The City of Kitchener’s Kidspark kicks off with Erick Traplin at Kitchener Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Check their site for a full event listing.
Grab your sugar plum fairy and head to Centre in the Square for a performance of The Nutcracker by Ballet Jörgen at 2 and 7.
Thursday, December 29
Teach your kids about the future where we serve our robot overlords with “Build robot crafts”, a Kidspark event at the KPL Central Branch at 2 p.m.
BeccaHosts has 2022 Wrap Up Musical Bingo at Descendants Beer & Beverage Co. at 8 p.m/
Friday, December 30
Dave Young and Michael Dunston play the music of Donny Hathaway at The Jazz Room at 6:30 and 8 p.m.
The Pinch Cabaret is KW’s monthly variety show, performance laboratory, and community arts party. An unexpected mix of comedy, burlesque, poetry, balloon twisting, music, performance art and who knows what else! Check out their end-of-the-year cabaret on Friday, Dec. 30 from 8:00-10:30 p.m. at Button Factory Arts.
Rural Roots and BeccaHosts Entertainment have Party Anthems musical bingo at 7:30 p.m.

Ring in the New Year in the Square outside Kitchener City Hall with free skating, family activities from 6 – 8 p.m., a DJ and an outdoor party!
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Waterloo Town Square. There’s family-friendly celebrations in Waterloo Public Square with skating, music, crafts and hot cider from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Hit up Boston Pizza Kingpin Bowlounge for a night of Yuk Yuks comedy with two shows: at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The Rich Uncle’s New Year’s Eve Celebration is a specialty 4-course feature menu that kicks off their Great Gatsby-themed NYE celebrations!
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Apollo with a screening of When Harry Met Sally… starting at 7 p.m.
Come ring in the New Year at Descendants Beer & Beverage with Sparkle Party- New Years Eve starring Crystal Quartz! Drag performances throughout the evening, Dancing and social in between performances. Champagne Toast at midnight.

The Apollo Cinema has a screening of The Princess Bride at 4 p.m.
