In his latest book, Deibert discusses the ways in which digital technologies have given rise to a new, machine-based civilization that is increasingly linked to a growing number of social and political challenges. Accountability is weak and insecurity is endemic, creating disturbing opportunities for exploitation.

Live at the Apollo brings you a live stream concert from the Apollo stage thanks to the team at Good Co. Productions and the City of Kitchener. You can order a box to enjoy at home and for $10, you can “be in the audience” via your face being embiggened and put on a sign.

KW Counselling Services is celebrating 70 years of providing accessible counselling services to individuals, couples, and families in Waterloo Region. You can help them continue this work by participating in their virtual Run4KWCS Couch to 5K! You can run, walk or roll alone, or with a team! The run route is your choice. You can participate in this virtual event from anywhere in the world and help raise funds to support the work of KW Counselling Services. The virtual race runs from January 18 to March 27.
