WLU’s Centre for Student Equity, Diversity and Inclusion welcomes Ann Marie Beals. Ann Marie will share stories of African, Caribbean, and Black activists, Elders, and scholars and their contributions to fighting for freedom and the creation of an equitable thriving society for all.
Idea Exchange and Rhythm & Blues present Paint Night with artist A. Decker. A. Decker will break down each stroke of the brush into an easy to follow lesson that is suitable for artists of all skill levels. Celebrate Black history as you create your own version of the painting “Voyage of a Black Woman".

Break up those winter blues without travelling internationally with Beach in a Box with Artshine and the Kitchener Market. With this activity kit, you and your family will be able to watch an online tutorial and paint a tropical scene on canvas together, all supplies included. Island music list and vacation-mocktails recipes, beach ball, sand, and floral lei will be included in each box. All supplies, paint, canvas and seashells will also be included - $10 (enough supplies for 4 participants).
Laurier invites you to learn the Physics of Jazz with theoretical physicist, professional Jazz musician, author and current President of the National Society of Black Physicists (NSBP), Stephon Alexander at 1pm. He’ll share his insight on the interconnection between music and the evolution of astrophysics and the laws of motion. He will also discuss ways that innovations in physics have been and can be inspired from "improvisational logic" exemplified in Jazz performance and practice.

KPL Kids Presents: The Story of the First Woman to Play in the NHL at 10am. Manon Rhéaume was the first and only woman to play in an NHL game. Manon was also a member of Team Canada during the 1998 Olympics and multiple World Championships teams.
Relish Cooking Studio has Online Baking Workshop: Valentine Cookie Decorating - learn how to make Valentine’s Day shortbread cookies at 11am.
BeccaHosts has a special Virtual Trivia event in support of Hobo Haven Rescue in St. Jacob’s. $40 per team. Trivia starts at 7:30pm.
The Culinary Studio has pasta from scratch - a virtual cooking lesson - on at noon. Begin with making homemade egg pasta dough, rolled by hand (rolling pin required), stuffed with cheese and served with a roasted tomato sauce.
