KW Flamenco Fest lights up Kitchener-Waterloo on July 5 with a full day of free events. Check out kids’ flamenco at 11 a.m., a cante workshop at noon and a CalúJules student showcase at 2 p.m. at The Registry Theatre, followed by an open-air finale in Waterloo Square starring Esmeralda Enrique company dancers Virginia Castro Durán and Rocío Conde, Montreal singer Alvaro Echanóve and violinist Philip Samutin, hosted by Claudia and Julian.
