The Registry Theatre and actOUT! Kitchener-Waterloo Children’s Drama Workshop presents “Into The Woods Jr.” from Dec. 18 to Dec. 21. Into the Woods JR. features all of your favourite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.

TriCity Improv has an Improv Comedy show at the Kitchener Waterloo Little Theatre at 8 pm. Watch as their talented group of improv experts create comedy right before your eyes, based on suggestions from the audience. All proceeds go to support our local community theatre, KWLT.

Over at Den 1880 in Uptown Waterloo, check out the Rusty Nail Comedy Holiday Show with not one, but two headliners—Jason Allen & Jean Paul. Show starts at 7:30 pm.

Centre in the Square has Elvis’ Wonderful World of Christmas: Graceland Edition at 8 pm.

Good Co X Farm League X The Boathouse present Softcult live at The Boathouse DTK starting at 7 pm.

Get your kids (5-12 yo) out of the house with KPL’s STEM Sled and Slide at the Central Branch from 2-3 pm.

KPL Grand River branch has Decembrrr Crafternoon from 2-3 pm. It’s an hour of cool winter themed crafts and activities for ages 5 to 12 yo.

Waterloo Public Library has Kwanzaa at the Library all day across all its locations. Each location will have a scavenger hunt, colouring sheets and a special craft for you to enjoy as a family.

The Apollo has a Klassic Kidz screening of A Muppets Christmas Carol at 1:45 pm.

All aboard for a holiday feast while riding on Waterloo Central Railway’s festively decorated heritage train for Festive Feast on the Rails! The journey takes you through a picturesque winter landscape paired with a three-course Christmas meal prepared by ChefD.
